To have thus gathered in and stored up in such concentrated fashion, within the tiny superficial area of a gramophone disc, that gigantic combination of sounds which can be heard nowhere else on earth save once every three vears in the Centre Transept of the Crystal Palace, seems to me little short of miraculous.
